Is the free plan actually free, or a trial?

Can facility managers use this without seeing owner finances?
Yes. You can give a facility manager access to occupancy and maintenance only, without exposing rent or reporting data.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. If you go over a plan's limits, new entries pause until you're back within them, but nothing you've already entered is lost.
